Part 8 - Muhlenberg College - Allentown, PA

While in the Bethlehem area, Dave and I went to nearby Allentown to visit Muhlenberg College, my wife Karen's alma mater.

The former library is now the Haas College Center (admissions, president's office, etc.).

The dome atop Haas is best viewed from a distance.

A statue of John Muhlenberg stands in front of Haas.
The statue is temporarily decorated with a skull-and-crossbones eyepatch.

The college is named for John's father, Henry Melchior Muhlenberg, the patriarch of the Lutheran Church in America.

Seegers Union includes the bookstore, dining services, event space, etc.

Prosser Hall was Karen's dorm.

Brown Hall is an older dorm, next to Prosser.

Baker Center for the Arts is across Chew Street.

Victor's Lament, a sculpture by Mark di Suvero, is on campus.
